Cheers to Cranberry Punch

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. We celebrate everything we’re thankful for and blessed with by enjoying an all-day feast of friends, family, football and food. All that delicious food: turkey, ham, turkey, stuffing, veggies, turkey, mashed potatoes and yet another helping of turkey. We enjoy recipes passed down through generations. We enjoy having new family members introduce their favorite spins on familiar dishes. This is the one meal of the year I indulge in desserts. I eat just about everything on our beautiful, bountiful table. Except cranberry sauce. It doesn’t make any sense either, because I love cranberries. But for me cranberry sauce has always been a polite, “No thank you.” Until this year. Thanks to the creative talents of Kelly Senyei at Just a Taste Videos, I finally found a cranberry “sauce” I love. Here’s a delicious cranberry-pomegranate punch that should find its way to the adult table every Thanksgiving. Watch. Mix. Serve in a Tervis. Enjoy.

Orange slices, for garnishing
Fresh mint, for garnishing

In a large pitcher, combine the frozen cranberries, cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, orange juice, lime juice and vodka.
Pour the punch into serving glasses and top off each glass with a splash of Prosecco.
